Kia ora, welcome to my portfolio.

My name is Annie Sansom.

I am in my fourth (honours) year of Spatial Design at Massey University, Wellington.

The aim of this portfolio is to present my art and design work to be enjoyed and understood.

Through my spatial designs, my main objective is to be an advocate for care and kaitiaki towards the environment.

Restoration and regeneration are things I would like to bring to projects and life in any way that I can.

I have many creative interests outside of my spatial practice, including painting, photography and small house research. I am inspired by nature, travelling and cooking.

Some of my most proud achievements:
  • Finalist in the Best design awards, 2023. Garden city in the sky.
  • Nominated for the Best design awards, 2022. Whare of felt.
  • Offered Victoria University Tangiwai scholarship for study, 2020.
  • Highly commended Architectural ‘LEAF’ project in the Celebrate design awards Otago Polytechnic, 2019.
  • House captain and Board of Trustees member at Otago Girls’ High School, 2019.
  • Excellence endorsement for all 3 levels of NCEA at Otago Girls’ High School, 2019, 2018, 2017.
